It’s time to water!
Despite the winter weather, it’s important to remember that watering is still essential!
Oklahoma remains in a drought, and your plants need adequate water to prevent damage and dehydration. While watering needs vary, young shrubs and trees (especially evergreens) are at the greatest risk during a winter drought. It is safe to water whenever the temperature is above freezing and the soil is not frozen.
We are heartbroken by the loss of 30+ year employee Pat Grissom. Pat was known as “the Rose Man,” and customers would come in specifically seeking his expertise on these classic flowers. Pat handled all of TLC’s rose potting and seminars for many years. He was courageous in his battle with cancer until the end.
Pat impacted so many in the TLC family during his many years in the nursery. Here are some remembrances:
