This annual is a tried and true favorite in Oklahoma. Sometimes called Summer Snapdragon, Angelonia provides excellent color from spring through fall. Vibrant green foliage sits lower to the ground accenting flower spikes made with brilliant hues of pinks, purples, whites and reds. Its heat and drought tolerance and relative low maintenance makes this annual a great choice for the sun garden.
Angelonia mixes well with lower to the ground annuals and perennials and can even serve as a mid height bloom to shrubs and taller perennials. Great color can come from mass plantings or even accents in the garden bed. Containers can come to life with Angelonia mixed with other annuals to liven up any area of your outdoor living space.
