This tree is truly something special to behold. Its adaptability and beautiful upright stature make for a gorgeous display in any home.
It carries a strong central trunk that leads its growth into an upright pyramidal form. The trees branches grow quite dense, giving a particularly full look that adds to it beauty. At an early age it develops attractive exfoliating bark. Mottled brown, green and tan bark peels off in large sections revealing various shades of cream to white on the inner layers of the trunk.
This planetree is also noted for its excellent disease resistance and ability to survive in difficult conditions.
